Watch this short video clip from Bloomberg news today, that talks about how home values are beginning to rise, and home sales are increasing. Many experts believe that the home buyer tax credit programs simply changed the timing of the buyers, and that even after the home buyer tax credits expire, we will still see strong sales.
We are currently near some of the lowest mortgage interest rates in the history of the United States. Michigan home sales prices have rolled back as much as 15 years in some areas, meaning you can pay a sales price today, equal to what someone paid back in 1995, in some areas.
The hasn’t been a better time to buy a Michigan home when you look at both the mortgage rates and prices. If you have ever thought about buying a home on Lake Saint Clair, lake Michigan, Lake Huron, or on any of Michigan’s hundreds of lakes, now is the time.
